Follow along for an intimate and wild elopement in the heart of Paris. Maria and Isidro came all the way from Spain to bring their real love and free-spirited nature to our shoot and help us celebrate in and around the colourfully vintage PLEY hotel, heavily inspired by the rich radio history of Paris' 8th arrondissement. The team beautifully blended the classic romance of Paris, with modern takes on fun, vintage design.

Local Parisian Hair and Makeup artist, Laura Julliard, created a subtle and romantic look using neutral tones and soft curls framing Maria's face. Maria wore a gorgeous, 60's fashion inspired, cathedral length, ruffle veil, as an homage to the retro and eccentric aesthetic of PLEY hotel. This was balanced with a short and beautifully minimal dress from Park and Fifth Co., soon to be released with their new White Collection. Her shoes were a classic, pointed toe, nude pump from Sam Edelman. Isidro wore an approachable, all black look from H&M, featuring slim pants, a classic jacket, and a turtle neck.

The Day of Romance:

We started our day on the secluded rooftop of the hotel, with sunny views of the Eiffel Tower. A trendy bar in summer months, the rooftop area was perfect for an intimate ceremony with areas to sit both indoor and outdoor.

We moved indoors to the colourful, vintage inspired suite. Champagne celebrations were well deserved. The bright pops of pink and blue matched Maria and Isidro's vibrant love, and were a beautiful reminder that we shouldn't be afraid to play with colour on our wedding day!

The celebrations proceeded to the rest of the hotel. Shared cocktails and giggles set the tone for the rest of the day to come.

The lower lounge was the perfect location for a private first dance. Having an elopement doesn't mean you have to sacrifice on your favourite traditions. Moments like a first dance are only made more important with the quiet intimacy.

We finished the day with a trip to the near by Pont Alexandre III. The intricately designed bridge has one of the best views of the Eiffel Tower and perfect sunset lighting for bride and groom portraits.
